During day 4 the group gets split in two teams according to the material that characterizes the area, the city they are studying. The assignment for the brick team was to build an entry/access arch wide enough to allow the passing of a bike through it. A small lecture was given to us, at the beginning of the day about brick working techniques, by dr.ir. A.T. Vermeltfoort from TU/e .
After the lecture practical explanations were given on how to use all the provided materials and machines in the TU/e workshop.

On the other side of the workshop the teams working with concrete were also really busy and trying to finish everything in the given time.
The evening brought again a very interesting lecture, given by the Wienerberger brick factory representative, ing. Rob Mulder. The lecture was of course about brick work and some of their most interesting and innovative projects. Unfortunately the counter lecture, the one about concrete use got canceled due to unexpected events.
